A little bit about me. I'm a reformed alcoholic, I don't mind saying that, as I was damn good at it. Bourbon & Vodka was a way of life and almost a way of death. You'll notice I say "cheers" often. Cheers was a favorite expression then and now.

Recently I became a cancer survivor (with much hope that it doesn't return). Cancer resulted in chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and an operation. 48 day stay in ICU, almost dying, followed by pain, weakness and helplessness.

I'm strong now, strong from the realization that every breath is worth breathing. Strong from knowing life isn't a promise, but a challenge worth fighting for. Do what you love with those you love. I wish everyone the best, cheers.
